Code text is reproduced from publicly available enacted law and may contain extraction errors, omit figures or tables, or lag behind amendments. Always verify against the official source and consult NYC DOB and a registered architect or engineer before relying on any result.
buildingcodes is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official publication of the City of New York, the Department of Buildings, the Department of City Planning, HPD, or the U.S. Access Board.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue it, or change the codes covered, at any time without notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
